Why We Threw Out Our Expensive Home Coffee "Maker"

Yes, we threw away our expensive home coffee maker. Oh, we have so many reasons.

But first, you might think that owning a coffee shop means we have easy access to the fanciest machines on the market. Well, our commercial machines are great but we’ve gone simple at home.

Want to please your significant other? We (obviously 'cuz we're single-minded) can think of nothing better than having him or her wake up to the aroma of fine coffee.

We roasted a limited amount of 100% pure Kona Prime. This is not a blend. Kona is called a honeymoon coffee. Perhaps, it's something to think or reminisce about over that fine breakfast capped by a lovely cup of Kona. No pressure.

Really Fresh

The distinction of a craft coffee roaster like Conscious Cup is that you can enjoy coffee at the peak of flavor. After all, basic organic chemistry dictates that coffee will decay; more quickly after roasting. Peak flavor is 15 days post-roast.

In keeping with this freshness bent, or obsession, we have, Conscious Cup and Cook Street Coffee offer freshly made mocha, vanilla, white chocolate and seasonal flavorings like our current raspberry syrups and sauces. We stir these up in the Crystal Lake kitchen. See:
