Roasting right in our cafe means our coffees are perfectly fresh, at the very peak of intense, rich flavor.

Of course the green coffee we buy from around the world has to be very, very good. It's picked from under the dark forest canopy in places like Chiapas, Mexico, near the Triunfo Biosphere Preserve, or from along the edge of the Peruvian Andes where the beans grow hard and sweet, or in the remote jungle mountains of Papua New Guinea. We have a fondness for Ethiopia, said to be coffee's birthplace, and our Harrar roast recently earned a "top-rated" 94 points from Coffee Review.

Mike and Jason cup regularly with our primary importer looking to serve the best varietal coffees available from farmers, people like Sergio Ticas, who grew the El Salvador Cup of Excellence lot recently available.
